A:AnswerAs far as what you hear, yes it is clear. It does a good job at blocking outside noise from your ears. I never asked the person on the other end but I take it it just depends on how loud it is around you whether they hear ambient noise.

There IS a large (not really that large) section at the back of the neck where the battery pack is and I would not suggest letting that get anywhere near water (even rain from my experience).
