• It depends on the device. If it’s on your phone or tablet, then yes. If it’s on the plane’s tv then no. This are Bluetooth only.

• It all depends on the software being used on the plane, not on the headphones. More than likely you will. It be able to connect to the plane’s movie player via Bluetooth. However if you want to watch a movie on your own device then there is no need for WiFi. This connects via Bluetooth, not WiFi.
