• Yes you can hear someone talking to you. It is quieter but still clear. They fit snug and actually cut out some background noise which I like. Recommend them highly. Jojo says its a go-go !

• No. You would need to turn volume down or remove ear buds in order to hear someone talking to you.

• Yes the earphones can be used to communicate with on the phone. The other person will hear you loud and clear and vice versa.
