As far as a comparison in sound I can't be any help, but as far as smugness, they fit really well. I use them at work (I'm a landscaper) as well as the gym with zero issues. Hope this helps!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use for lifting and running/hiking and have used Jaybird freedom and bluebuds. I've always had an issue with bluebuds popping out and having to push them back in especially when lifting on a bench. These don't fit tight since they're not really in ear headphones. They fit more like other Bose headphones, comfortable and loose but they DO NOT fall out. I do not have to keep pushing back in and they're comfortable since they're not shoved into your ear. Better sound quality than Jaybird x2, especially bass but sound volume isn't as high. I use at 50% and have no problem blocking out gym music and sound. In comparison I could still hear someone talking to me with Jaybirds in my ear. with these you can slightly hear outside noise but would have to remove in order to understand anything. Not noise cancelling but more so than other ones out there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very snug and comfortable. It will not irritate your ears. I can't even tell that they are in my ears thats how light it is. The clip helps the wires to stay put so that it will not keep bouncing or moving while you run. You have to increase the volume in the gym due to outside noise. It is perfect for running or biking outside so that you can be aware of your surroundings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These are great for working out. These have soft rubber wings that lock into your ear. There is absolutely no bounce or wiggle. There is a slight amount of outside noise at lower volumes, but I prefer this to a completely sealed off in-ear headphone. This makes it safer for running and biking on the street.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes they do fit snug but i found myself constantly readjusting them during more intense workouts due to how bulky these things are. I honestly prefer my X2s over these the sound quality is allot better and the low profile keeps them in my ears.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Im using the medium size. I've been doing intense running to core excerises. They stay in place. The wire is just long enough to where it doesn't bounce round and doesn't strangle a large neck. There's a clip that you can use if you are paranoid about them sliding off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't compare them to the Jaybird X2 but I love mine, I actually have the sport headphones and these. The stayhear clips are great, I do not have any issues with them falling out while running on a tread mill or lifting and they do a great job blocking out the external noise when you turn noise canceling on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They fit snugly and the outside world is quite quiet. See what I did there? Outside sounds do not get in when music is playing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to use the largest ear tip and thy fit very well in my ear. I've used them on the treadmill and weight room and they stay in my ears with no trouble.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do HIIT sprints and box jumps with mine, without any issue (never had issues with my X2s, either). The control button area is a little heavier than it was with the X2s, so I did have to adjust the wires to fit more snugly behind my head. That way, it doesn't bounce around and move out of my ears at all. Otherwise, the fit is the same as it was with the X2s, just more streamlined in size. I don't think outside noise is an issue at all. They aren't noise-cancelling, per se, but I am completely able to get lost in my world with them in. The MySound app allowed me to increase the bass and adjust the other sound settings, so they are more in line with how I like to hear my music. If anything, they might be a little better than X2s at blocking ambient noise.
