Yes the charging light turns from blinking yellow to full green after the charge. So the product detects full charge and stops charging.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have NOT had an issue with over charging the battery when I leave my headphones charging overnight. I put my headphones on to charge for a minimum of 12 hours a day. It's just because I plug them in once I'm finished with them overnight, then use them for approximately 4-5 hours. Then, I just plug them in until it's time to watch TV once again.
