• bose has definitely more bass than the sonos hands down though the sonos can get a bit louder

• I heard both, side by side at Best Buy and the Bose has definitely the better sound quality

• I have the Bose SoundTouch but listened to both the Bose and the Sonos Play 5 in the store. I think the Bose has the better bass. The Bose also offers Bluetooth streaming which is a major plus.
