Hello there. Great question. The Bose SoundTouch Series II Wireless adapter is compatible with the Lifestyle 135 Series II & Series III, and the CineMate 130. It sounds like you may have the original Lifestyle 135 Series I which the adapter is not compatible with. Please call us at 800-380-4831 so that we may help.
