Are these a good pair of headphones for a gamer? null

Lack the thump when you need it. Bass is too weak for a gamer.

I used them briefly on a pc with a 4 pole 3.5mm to USB adapter. The sound was great, the mic was not the best. The inline mic lacks a mute button and my friends gaming with said the chat was soft sounding even at highest volume.

Probably not....I would want a Turtle Beach wireless head set....no wires!

Yes. The high quality of sound puts you right in the action and lets you feel as if you are in the game itself.

These sound great but I would lean toward a true 5.1 or 7.1 headset for gaming. For the price you could get a great headset that would be better for gaming in my opinion.
