Timmy sorry but you will need 110 vac service to either the ceiling/wall hole or an outlet. U have a rather large AC to DC converter that supplies power to the cube. You will also need to see the cube’s status light to see if it pairs and is available. I had older Bose cube speakers and went to the 700 series BT speakers with a stand and 900 bar with 700 Base. After initial setup and pairing they work great.
