“Will Netflix and Prime video allow sound to come thru the sound bar? I had purchased another brand of sound bar and it did not allow netflix or prime video to play without disabling Dolby and/or DTS on the TV which cannot be done”

Yes it works great! I have a Firestick and it connected easily using the optical audio connection from the tv to the sound bar.
