“can I use them for surround sound? is the extra $200 worth compared to B&W M1 speakers?”

• I use B&W 607's as surround speakers with 606's for the fronts, a HTM6 for the center, and two SVS SB1000 Pro subwoofers. They sound fantastic and are worth the money in my opinion.

• You can use any speakers for surround sound. I have no idea about m1 speakers. These seem too expensive for surround speakers though.
