Yes, but only in conjunction with other speakers in home theater system.

Yes, you can use this speaker for music. Its a center channel speaker so if you are only buying speakers for music you are just going to want a Front Left and Right channel. Center channels are really more for Video or music surround sound from concerts you may watch on TV.

There are two inputs in the speaker, red and black. I have my center channel speaker hooked up to the center channel outlet on my receiver. If I wanted to use it as a stereo speaker, I would need two of these, one hooked up to the right source and the other to the left. Otherwise it would act as a simple mono speaker. Even though there are several individual speakers inside the housing configured as an array, it is not set up as a left-right-center speaker configuration.
