“Considering this for my 7.2 in-ceiling speakers. However, concerned about the in-ceiling center channel speaker. Would this be good for that as well?”

This will make a great center channel. Another great option would be the CCM Cinema 7 because the midrange and tweeter are angled towards the listener.
