• You do not need the JRNY app to use the machine, but they give you a couple months free to try it. It is fitness coaching app that learns your name and encourages you to continue on with the goals you establish when you first log in. It offers a large variety of walking to running programs through the app. Again you do not need it to use the machine, the machine has a lot of programs built in as well, they are just not as interactive (you wont have a virtual coach cheering you on and guiding you).
