• No, you don't have to have Bluetooth in your car. I don't. I have an older car a 2003, and it works fine. A little static but again I have a 2003! You can charge two things at the same time as well. You just need the usb cables (only need cables for charging) you can also answer cell phone, audio comes through car speakers, microphone built in. music stops while you talk....starts again when you hang up.
