I use it for both head and face, and it does a great job.

I love how this shaver gets pretty close to a slick shave without tearing up the breakout area. I find the Braun style conforms with the curves and bumps of the skull much better than the rotary style shavers. I also have no irritation whatsoever with this shaver when used on my head.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry I use the razor only to shave a beard. It seems to work well once your beard gets used to it. It doesn't irritate the skin so it wouldn't hurt your scalp. I just can't tell you how close a shave you would get using it on your scalp. I think Braun probably has a customer service phone or chat, you might try asking them.
