I don't think so. I remove and brush the shaver head to clean it after every shave, and then snap the shaver head back on when I am finished. I recharge/clean the shaver head approximately every two weeks. I also remove the cleaning solution container from the charger and put the cap back on it whenever I am not actually charging/cleaning the shaver. That prevents the solution from evaporating quickly and makes it last much longer.
