Does the puck always comes out extremely wet? null

How wet the puck comes out depends on the type of coffee and how fine the grind. Too coarse a grind will result in a wetter puck but that is controlled by the grinder and not the espresso machine.

The pucks on the Breville® BES450 Bambino® can come out wet but there are several factors that can lead to that dampness including the coarseness of the grind, how firm the tamp is, etc.
