It does not get too hot for Formica countertops. Mine have been used for well over a year and no damage or discoloration has taken place. The top of the oven is another story. Don’t put anything on top or too close to the sides or back. 3” or 4” is sufficient spacing. You will love the oven. We were 1/4 thru baking an item before our oven fully preheated the other day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This can set on a plastic laminate counter-top as the legs keep it almost an inch off the counter, and heat rises so it should not be an issue. It is more important to keep the 4" air space at the sides and back they recommend.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this is the best toaster ever. you do not need to put anything under at all and it's also safe. if I have to buy toaster again I am getting the same because it's not like any other toaster very smart put your food in and walk away. and I highly recommend getting it from Best Buy
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will be fine sitting on a countertop however I would not advise placing it under a shelf as it does generate heat I have used one of these for several years and never had any issues.
