• The Breville® BOV900 Smart Oven® Air Fryer Pro has a recommendation of 4" of space on both sides and 6 inches above for proper ventilation while in operation.

• I would think you can PROVIDED it is not flat against the refrigerator and leave 6" or more for air circulation. It does got very warm when in use. Mine is on my countertop but I have it placed so there is ample air space around the sides and top of the appliance.
