- Answer You can’t program this machine to turn on automatically. However, that’s not important since it starts to brew in 3 seconds. This machine has far more selections to control the grind, extraction, temperature, frothing, etc., so this machine is much better. It walks you through the steps for each drink selection. The very quick heating to start extraction is excellent too. I hope those points answer your questions

- Answer No it is not self tamping. You do it yourself. You will feel like a barista while using this machine. It’s pretty fun. I will one of these days make a design in my coffee. I try everyday. Lol

QuestionI had to return mine because it would not allow you to put the grind holder in You had to hold the machine and hope it would turn. I made the mistake of returning it for a refund and now it is 100$ more.Is it normal to struggle to put the grind holder in?
