A: I am the one that asked this question, but It was delivered today so i will answer this myself in case others want to know this. The baskets are 53mm.
A: I was getting this problem also. I salved it by getting a good 53.3mm puck screen. There are varying types and prices on amazon, but they do work. Plus they keep the shower screen (where the water comes out the machine) clean from coffee grounds, and help disperse the water evenly through the coffee.
