• The Combi Air Fryer pan is solid, not mesh. I think the key is using very little fat. I did some sweet potato fries and there was no dripping. I actually wish there was a mesh insert for the Combi pan. I think the food would crisp better as there would be more air circulation. Hope this helps.

• The Breville® BMO870 Combi Wave™ Microwave comes with both a crisper pan and a trivet. The trivet is placed in the crisper pan, the food on top of the trivet then the Air Fry function can engage. The pan will catch anything dripping from the food being air fried.
