• After much research I bought this yesterday, 4/1/2023, from my local BestBuy. Our refrigerator, countertop, and sink are stainless, and we wanted the microwave to match. Sadly, although the model # BMO650BSS1BUC1 is on both my order and on the pickup tag, model # BMO650SIL1BUC1 is what we got. BSS in the number is for Brushed Stainless Steel, SIL is for SILver. Now, looking at this time, Breville does not show this model in brushed stainless steel, only silver. It has the appearance and texture of bead blasted stainless steel. The door and panel are plastic, the top/sides cover is magnetic and therefore seems to be painted steel - see picture
