“What overhead space is required? We would like to put our microwave on a shelf that has plenty of depth & width -- but the HEIGHT is 14 inches. Will this be enough empty space on top of the microwave?”

• The Breville® BMO650 Compact Wave™ Soft Close Microwave requires 4 inches of space on all sides and 8 inches over head for proper ventilation while in operation.

• Instructions say 4" clearance on each side, 8" above. The unit itself is 11-1/2" high.
