“Is the exterior of the microwave actually stainless steel and not a material which is the color of stainless steel?”

• The unit is a mix of metal and plastic. The door and control panel/front bezel are plastic and the rest of the unit is steel with a baked-on enamel coating. None of it is stainless, save the door handle. Color-wise it seems to fit in well with our mixed brands of stainless steel large appliances in the kitchen.
