• Absolutely not. This is my third one...(in 40 years). I love them. I set it up in my garage so I don’t get cooking smells and heat in my house. It also uses far less electricity than a full sized oven because of its small size. I can actually cook a 20 + pound turkey in it. I would check with Breville...never had it happen to me. Once the temperature reaches the set heat, the heat will not go above that, but the convection fan should continue to work.
