Thank you for your question regarding the MTR1303SS range hood. We recommend checking with your local electrician to determine what the local code requirements are for your area. The specification sheet for this model can be found under the Downloads tab on our website. This will provide HVI duct orientation performance ratings needed to determine the cfm's for the range hood based on the ducting.
