“Can this printer scan to email? My own or someone else's? In other words, can I send a document straight to my gmail from the control panel on the scanner or do I need to do this through the computer?”

• The Brother DCPL2640DW does not support scanning to email directly from the machine's display. To scan a document to your email using this model, you would need to scan the document and attach it to your email from your computer of mobile device.
