Yes - answering machine can be connected. External phone jack.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You have to play with the settings on both machines, but its not difficult. I have the FAX and my V-tech phone/answering machine on the same line. There are instructions for this in the manual, but basically you set the FAX to pick up at least one ring after the answering machine and change the out-going message to tell the caller to "press *51 to send a fax".
