- Answer In order to do any faxing from your home, you must have a landline phone line.

- Answer Yes, it comes with a carbon paper ribbon which serves as it's ink. I doubt it will last very long or provide very good quality though so there you have it.

- Answer Yes and no. speeaker only lets you hear - not talk with the handset down - so you can answer a call and switch over to FAX when you hear the signal. no built-in mic. I guess that cost more. Still, Ilike it and it does the job for me cheaply.

- Answer I've used it with Comcast and AT&T U-Verse with no problem. If either of those are digital, then the answer is "yes".

QuestionAs one looks at the fax machine head on, can you tell me where I could purchase the small light blue piece on the RIGHT side of the cardboard roller inside the fax machine, connecting the roller to the machine so papers can roll through? Thank you.

- Answer Yes, adjusting the contrast to darker to make the document lighter. Insert the document face down in the ADF(Automatic Document Feeder). Press Menu/Set, 3,3. Press up or down to select Auto, Light, or Dark. Press Menu/Set. Press 2 if you have finished choosing settings for this page, and then go to Step 5. Fine and Super Fine are Resolution settings temporarily (for the fax only). Fine-Good for small print and transmits a little slower than Standard Resolution. Super Fine- Good for small print or artwork and transmits slower than Fine resolution.
