By losing the power it could have messed up your printer cache. Empty that on your computer first. Second , reconnect your printer and try again.. Make sure that Windows 10 is not managing your printer. If that doesn’t work, go into settings and delete the printer. Restart your computer and reinstall your printer.

Before that I pulled out all the plugs on my router, printer, computer, but nothing worked. When I deleted the printer and then entered it from scratch it worked. Thank you SO much! Leigh

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Power outages and/surges can cause issues with printers and other types of electronics including TVs. In the case of printers that don't respond after an outage, I do the following: 1) Pull the plug on the printer either at the wall or at the power plug into the printer. Hold down the power BUTTON for 15 seconds after the printer is unplugged. Release the power BUTTON and plug the printer back in. Let the printer restart and see if your computer now recognizes the printer. BTW ... this works great for TVs that won't respond after a surge. 2) If the printer still won't print and the printer is connected to your computer via a router otherwise go to the next step. Restart the router by pulling the power cable, waiting 15 seconds and plugging it back in. If your printer still doesn't respond after the router reboots. 3) Turn off your printer. Go to the DEVICES/PRINTERS setup in your operating system. Find your HL-L2320D in the printer list. It will say "Offline". Right click on the printer and select "Remove". Approve the removal, turn your printer back on and restart your computer. The operating system should recognize the the printer automatically but if it doesn't, Go to the DEVICES/PRINTERS setup in your operating system and select "Add a printer". Your printer should come up after the search. Select it and let the computer install the drivers again. 1 of these 3 options has always worked for me.
