- Answer No ink, toner. Toner is rated by number of pages. Toner doesn't dry out as ink does if printer is seldom used.

- Answer The H L-L2320D is not a copier, it is only a printer. If you have a separate scanner you could probably use the combination as a copier.

- Answer It was ordered. I got notification of its arrival. very efficient once there. But, there is nothing in emails and website about setting "no partials". I want to make only one trip to the store. I got notifications part-by-part in email which was bothersome.

- Answer Yes to both. Go to File, Print. Then the screen that comes up shows your printer name, below that is presets (select toner saver) and the third box pick Layout (and pick the two-sided, turn it to on). Hope that helps.

- Answer Yes, there is a single sheet feeder. I think it could handle 65-80 lb stock, but I haven't tried it.

QuestionIs Brother HL-L2320D printer compatible with Linux Mint 13?

- Answer I haven't used 13 in a while, but I would certainly think so. I just bought one this morning and got it printing in duplex off of Mint 17.3. The Cups and LPR .deb files are available on the Brother support website, along with instructions. They have a universal installer file that supposed to install the Cups and LPR files for you, but it did not work for me. They offer those individual files as well, on the same page, and doing it that way worked okay. FYI, to be able to use duplex at all, set DuplexNoTumble in the Printer Properties menu.
