Yes, poor print quality are caused by 2 items. An issue with the machine or with the resolution provided to the printer. Meaning if you send a print job and the resolution of the print is under 300dpi or below the result will be very poor. This is not a fault of the printer but of the source given to the printer. Typically this should be no issue.
