The HL-L2390DW display is nicer color design if you use the printer to enter print jobs and the like at the printer. I chose to use the simpler, and cheaper, HL-L2390DW display option since once it is set up wireless or USB, I never need to use the display again as I run it off the software only on tablet, PC or phone. I'd go up the line and get the auto feed scanner feature over the color display...that's just me talking, but auto scan feed is a TRUE advantage if you want to spend the money. Most won't ever use the printer's input display once you set it up and the HL-L2390 was just fine for that.
