• It will "go to sleep" if not used...no need to turn it off.

• We recommends keeping the Brother MFCJ4335DW machine plugged in when not in use. When the machine is off, it will still periodically clean its printhead to maintain print quality. To prolong the length of the printhead, provide better ink efficiency, and maintain print quality, you should keep your machine plugged in at all times.
