I have never experienced a problem with the ink drying up. I always purchase the XL size.

It hasn't for me, but I suppose it would depend how much is ileft when it went idle. Also, before printing, I'd run the nozzle cleaning on your printer.

It should not as we have new ink for several months before it is used and sometimes I can go week or so without using the printer.

I live in Yuma and only print once in a while and have ink in storage. I have never had the ink dry up.

According to the labels on the ink, once you open it you have to use it within six months.

I don't think so, the ink is protected by the cylinder that it comes with. Hope this helps
