Yes, the Brother MFCJ1170DW comes with Inks. The MFCJ1170DW comes with Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow Starter Ink Cartridges, Quick Setup Guide, Product Safety Guide, Reference Guide, Warranty Card, Telephone Line Cord. Please be advised, for scanning on a computer you can use the Brother iprint&scan app. For scanning on a mobile device if it is a iPhone or tablet you can use the Apple AirPrint and the Brother Mobile Connect App. For scanning from an android phone or table you can use the Brother Mobile Connect App. I have included a link to the FAQ answer that should assist you.
