• I have a Mac Computer (late 2012) with OS X El Capitan. It works well, but You Have to update to the latest Software Package AND FIRMWARE . Both can be downloaded on the Brother's Product support website or if you are more comfortable to get assistance from Brother phone support, they will guide you through these installations. If you do not update to the latest FIRMWARE & SOFTWARE, your printer will continue to lose communications.

• Yes. I can print from my mac book air and also from my iPhone without any problem. This unit has Air-print function.
