I’m using mine in my home office. It’s not quiet, and while printing does make several subjectively loud thunks and whirring sounds, but they are not constant sounds. It will be heard in the background of your call if printing while you are talking but unless the phone volume is low it’s not loud enough that you won’t hear them. I can hear it printing from about 20 feet outside my office, where it is near the door.
