“Bought yesterday. WiFi-Direct is supposed to be supported. I have searched through all menus, manuals, and online but see nothing. Unless I can figure out how to make this wireless without a router, I am taking it back.”

I have WiFi in my home and I entered my WiFi password into it and can scan to my computer to send emails out instead of faxing. Saved me 68.00 each month. I have my fax .com for 10 bucks a month and all faxes come in an email. I haven’t figured out how to send emails as a fax but you can. Without connecting to a network it still will AirPrint. You can do that in the store with your phone or iPad.
