Does the copier have a tray that 'catches' the copies? null

For normal printing, yes, the prints are delivered to a tray in the printer. When using the MP feeder and the straight-through paper path (by opening the back of the printer and flipping down the two grey levers), the paper may fall out of the back tray. Before I discovered this, I was absolutely mystified about where the prints were disappearing to - they had fallen into an opening between the filing cabinet and the wall.

Yes, the Brother MFCL3780CDW does have this feature.
