The Brother SDX125E comes with a mat.

It was a kit that came with machine, 12x12 inch standard tack DX mat, spatula, stylus, auto blade & auto blade holder (assembled), 1 black plotter pen (short / stubby), pen holder, power cord, quick start guide for first project, 1 piece of blue 12x12 card stock. The manual is a 100+ page .PDF you download from Brother's website. I don't believe mine came with a USB A to B cable which is needed to connect with your PC. It might have. I just don't remember. But if you're cool with using Wi-Fi you can use that instead via its setup wizard.
