“Specs say this printer supports a direct hookup with a USB cable. If I do the printer setup with wifi and later choose to connect directly can I do this? If so what specific USB cable do I need to purchase?”

I'm using this exact setup right now. There is a plug in inside the printer which goes via USB Cable directly to the computer. USB 2.0 Cable Type A/B

Please try again later.I went online to Brothers Live Chat and the representative talked me through setup and understanding how to make it work wirelessly and other things. He was great and patient. There is a USB cable neede with 2 different ends which I don’t have and would have to buy.
