I use it both Wifi and Bluetooth. It also it plugged in to my network via Cat5. So far it seems to work very well and I use it to create flyers as they come out better there than on my larger work laser printer by Brother which is a real work horse. I would not use this as a real work horse printer, but it's great for nice quality print and standard B&W. For connectivity. I use a Lenovo Yoga laptop with wireless connection and it's fine. I have tried to print from my Samsung Note 9 phone, but so far haven't been able to figure it out. It's a new phone to me and I've never tried to print from a phone so could be user error. WiFi works fine and I am not connected to any 'cloud' to enable printing, although I do use Dropbox and am able to print files fine from there. Wifi is all that is used then. Hope this helps.
