QuestionHow many different ink cartridges does it have? How much are they?

- Answer The printer needs 4 cartridges: black, cyan, yellow, and magenta. The high yield (more ink) one are around $23 for the black and about $14 for each cyan, yellow, and magenta. The standard yield cartridges are around $14 for black and $9 for each of the other colors.

QuestionPrinter is OFFLINE. I have tried everything that has been recommended from Brother support website but this thing keeps going asleep/offline on me. I've spent several hours to get it to work and it has interfered significantly with my daily work. Help!

- Answer This printer is working on WiFi for me. The day I bought it, I had a chat with a support agent whose help was incomplete. I contacted a friend who was able to get me a little farther. Eventually, the printer was added to my household network. You might try starting with a support chat.
