• If they're on a switch, they should work. However the google home doesn't work well without wifi.

• Hi JustaQuestion, if you're using these bulbs in the C by GE app, they connect directly to your phone via Bluetooth, so even if your WiFi goes down you'll still be able to control your bulbs!
