Yes. You can put the plugs wherever you want to and the bulbs in different rooms. You can just buy more bulbs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pdin3 is correct. After purchasing I have the hub in a different room and it still works. Per C be GE customer service the hub needs to be within 40 feet from the hub. Also the hub can support up to 32 bulbs, per C by GE customer service.

I found the ones without a hub, they have work flawless in every room with my app from my iPhone. I just bought them to days ago. My first smart lightbulbs ever as well as the Echo Dot they work great..’
