“Do I need a switch or something else to activate my light wirelessly? I thought I use this function but when I am away. App says unable to connect.”

• You need to have a wifi connected device for them to connect with to be able to use them remotely. The wall plug and some other devices have this capability. Hope that helps.

• If using Alexa to connect you need to add in the C by GE skill. You need to use the GE app to connect. Google can connect directly. Might also want to try the factory reset steps. As long as bulbs have power should work. At least with GE app.

• To turn on wirelessly, the device turning on should be on the same network and Bluetooth should be on. However, once cbyge app is synced with Google home app, the bulb can be turned on / off even when away.
