• Yes! I use the app or Alexa to control all the lamps and the plug which is connected to a radio.

• Yes you can use the app to control the lights while away as long as they are powered.

• If you connect it with the Alexa app on your phone, yes. I haven't tested Apple home or Google home with it though.
